2. Overview
This website is a static information site. We use no cookies, no tracking, no analytics or marketing tools and no external content services (e.g. no Google Fonts loaded from Google’s servers, no embedded maps or videos). Fonts are served locally from our own server. Personal data is therefore only processed to the technically necessary extent (delivery of the page) and when you contact us by email.
3. Hosting and server log files
Our website is hosted by an external provider: netcup GmbH, Daimlerstraße 25, 76185 Karlsruhe, Germany. When you access the website, the server automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser transmits. These typically include:
- anonymised or shortened IP address
- date and time of access
- the page/file requested and the amount of data transferred
- referrer URL (the previously visited page)
- browser and operating system used
The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the technically error-free presentation and security of our website. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR exists with the hosting provider.
4. Contacting us by email
If you contact us by email, we process the information you provide (e.g. name, email address, content of the message) to handle your request. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures/contract) or (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding). The data is deleted once it is no longer required for the purposes of its collection and no statutory retention periods apply.
5. Cookies and analytics
This website uses no cookies and no tools for reach measurement or tracking of your behaviour.
6. SSL/TLS encryption
For security reasons, this site uses TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the “https://” in your browser’s address bar.

Under the GDPR you have, in particular, the following rights:
- access to the data stored about you (Art. 15 GDPR)
- rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)

8. Right to lodge a complaint
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the member state of your residence, place of work or the place of the alleged infringement.
9. Changes to this privacy policy
We will update this privacy policy whenever changes to the website or to data processing make it necessary, for example when introducing new services.
